Flynn, Kossick & Associates, Inc. (FK&A), upon completion of our Strategic Marketing plan, we provide comprehensive Business Development assistance as well. We transition to a much more tactical position. In effect we become a member of our client’s sales team identifying specific procurement opportunities for this their solution set, and assisting in the process of qualifying those opportunities leading to contract award. Identification of opportunities and driving revenues for our clients are the primary objectives of this phase of our service offering.

 

  • We provide research and analysis to qualify identified opportunities including budget, schedule, selection committee, favored IT consultants, executive sponsorship, elected officials/city manager/etc, while documenting and tracking these finding in our client’s pipeline portfolio;

  • In coordination with our client, we help arrange and assist with meeting presentation(s) with appropriate state and local government officials;

  • We help arrange and assist with meeting presentation(s) with potential partners, systems integrators, DVBE’s, private organizations, etc.;

  • We also identify procurement schedules such as California Master Service Agreement (CMAS), Master Services Agreements (MSA), and the Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) which our client should apply for, and we assist in their certification process;

  • Many individual agencies, particularly non-executive departments, develop their individual consultant procurement schedules, sometime referred to as spring fed pools. We track these unique procurement opportunities, and work with our clients to ensure their application, and inclusion therein;

  • We advise and assist our clients throughout the individual procurement process life cycle from RFI/RFP, through proposal review, and during evaluation process, and finally

  • We hold regular/weekly sales opportunity review sessions with our clients to ensure continued focus on specific activities to drive expected results.
